We did not invent the electric vehicle. We simply made it the Audi way. Leading the charge in emission-free mobility, the e-tron redefines what it means to be an electric vehicle and brings forth a new generation of Audi. Infused with the Audi DNA, the e-tron is equipped with an entirely new quattro all-wheel drive system, intelligent technology, and superior performance that makes driving practical for everyday life with limitless possibilities. A new hero waiting to make its mark in history.
Audi has an unrivaled pedigree in the areas of technology and electrification. Competing in Le Mans for years, Audi switched gears and charged full speed into the future by entering a world racing series designed for electric powered vehicles. We pushed our capabilities to the extreme and beyond on the Formula E track and were the first German manufacturer to enter and win the first Formula E racing series in Beijing. Today, we continue to dominate by claiming the winning title in the team classification for the 2018 season with the Audi e-tron FE04 and the driver’s title in 2017.
